About

Toni Coleman, LCSW, CMC

Psychotherapist · Relationship Coach · Nonverbal Communication Expert

Toni Coleman is a psychotherapist and relationship coach who has spent thirty-five years watching women miss the signals that were always there.

Her focus is the part of a relationship that never gets said out loud; everything a man communicates long before his words catch up. Read those signals correctly and the decisions get easier.

She spent seven years as the Nonverbal Communication Examiner for Examiner.com and has served as a body-language expert for People.com, TMZ, and TooFab. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Cosmopolitan, and on CNN, ABC News, and NPR. She is the featured dating and relationship coach in The Business and Practice of Coaching (W. W. Norton) and wrote the foreword to Winning Points with the Woman in Your Life (Simon & Schuster).

She lives in Northern Virginia, where she raised four children and still does her best thinking on long walks.

Each week she writes His Tell, a Substack on what men reveal without saying a word.
